We are leaders!  / Ola Dokun (Niece)
Hi Daddy,
Its me again, I thought of you today when I filed my application to declare my candidacy for student government. I remembered the conversation we had last summer like it was yesterday. I remembered the smile in your eyes when I told you I was Vice-President of the student body. I remember you telling me that you in turn were Vice-President at Howard. We talked about campaign techniques and joked around that night when I came home from school. You were so supportive and very proud like a true father would. Well you will be even prouder to know that I am running for President this year! I complete my year as Vice President and I will be stepping my game up and running for President. I filed my application today and all i could think about what telling you, so I could see that same look in your eyes again. Elections are coming up and i intend to win! I guess leaders run in the family! I'll let you know how it goes, the result come out June 1st. Talk to you soon.
Love

Good night Gallant Soldier.  / Adekunbi Dokun (In Law )
Every life is unique but not every death is mourned by an entire town and  village.  Your journey on earth was not a wasted one your good work will be seen and read by many unborn generations to come.  Even in death your obsequies comfirmed how great you were and the irreplaceable lose will be felt by all of us.  Your departure has left a void but when I remembered your virtue you are a hero for so many. The dead squad in Eikiti State  and their agent will never know peace and will have no place to hide.  God will surely avenge their deed.
Sleep in peace. Close

I wish that I could talk to you again  / Bimbola Rotimi (Your Little Princess )
I wish that I were writing you an email instead of writing this message. I wish that I could talk to you instead of hoping that somehow you will hear my thoughts in Heaven. There are so many wishes I could list, but if there is one thing I have learned from you is the power of hope. While wishes may seem helpless, hope is mighty. Hope is strength. So I hope and I know that I will see you and talk to you and laugh with you again.

Love Always,
Bimbo

P.S. Our first task is done.

WHY KILL A DOVE?  / Yemi Rotimi

Although we never met nor known each other but what we shared will never die- better life for our community, better education for our children, accountability and transparency in our government and greater tomorrow for even generations yet unborn.
The evil doers might have silenced your mortal mouth but your ideas will live for ever. Ekitiland cannot afford the loss of any progressive mind. You were a great mind. Sleep well in the Lord, my friend.
May the good Lord grant those that you left behind the fortitude to bear the loss. Adieu till we meet to part no more.
MAY THE ALMIGHTY GRANT YOUR GENTLE SOUL ETERNAL REST.

My dear brother,
When we spoke on Saturday 12th August, I didn't know it will be our last. I know you've gone to rest in the bossom of God Almighty.
You showed us, your brothers, sister and many more true affection, true love, warmth and care. For these and more, I'm sure God will fight for you.
We will all miss you. But, I know, some day, we will meet to part no more. Sure, your dream, vision and love for a new Ekiti will live forever.
Boda, Sun re o.

Dr. Daramola,

Your killers will never rest until they are caught, in Jesus Name.  All participants that have brought your peaceful family to a sudden standstill shall never know peace anymore throughout their life times.  Turbulences, disasters, ailments and the worst things of live shall hit your killers in the name of God.

The spirits of your wife and children will hunt them down and they shall rise no more in the name of God.  Amen and Amen to this!!!! Close

I still do not want to believe you are gone....such a good man to be taken away from us....you were trully the light of the room. You walked into a room and made everyone smile, you were trully one of the best the world had to offer, i guess thats why God wanted you back. You were loved by many...and thats never going to change. I am glad that you were part of my life one way or the other and am never going to forget you.  I have nothing but good memories and this is what i am going to hold on to forever! Rest in peace Daddy Afo and I'll let you know how my year as vice president went!

Faith for Thy Service: God Help Our People to Help Themselves  / Oluwole Akindahunsi (Friends to All Ekitis for Peaceful Co-Existence )  Read >>
Faith for Thy Service: God Help Our People to Help Themselves  / Oluwole Akindahunsi (Friends to All Ekitis for Peaceful Co-Existence )
Ayodeji: I remember You, Wale Jegede, Martin Adeyemo, when Pa Akande invited me to Ekiti meeting when in the mid 80’s I returned to College Park after sojourned in Nigeria for six hectic years of which I narrated the future consequences of the attitudes witnessed in Nigeria (as now vindicated with the current occurrences in Nigeria today). You and these good friends of yours response to my concerns and observations then was “Oga we are going to change the place for good no matter what.” In fact you went to Nigeria to fulfill that promise, while we stayed forever!

Ayodeji: I have read and understand the circumstances you take reasonable steps to extinguish or control the “fire”. I was also notified that your burning ordinances were to choose a proper time to burn: following a rain when the wind is calm; after grasses are green and hardwood leaved are mature. But your drives to make a difference in the lives of Ekitis were responsible for the lost, stolen, and misdirected of your legitimate entities.

Ayodeji: Whatever the circumstances – mountain or valley – God takes care of His own.
“They thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them… and the waters gushed out.” Isaiah 48: 21)

Remember, nations: true freedom is God’s gift and found only through His peaceful design. “Fear God …: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters”. (Revelation 14:7)

Who Will Light the Way? I hope that your departure will ensure that all people shall have “security opportunities” regardless of their status in Nigerian Society.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 5: 16.

By Now you would look down, and Laugh, and Love and Lift.

Good Bye.

We shall all pass this way but once! Dr Daramola, you've made your mark!  / Abiola Oluwafemi (Former Student )

Adieu Dr Ayo Daramola
May your soul rest in perfect peace
He was a rare gem, down to earth and a good teacher - he made sure we understood every concept in Biochemistry and Nutrition.
We all felt his impact as a lecturer at ULAB now UNAAB
He believed in all his students  and gave us a taste of American Education, he was not just a lecturer but a mentor, motivator and a role model.
As a lecturer, we all loved to be in his class and learning from him was fun, he had great and positive expectations for all of us.
I was not surprised of his achievement in Ijan, he had a vision for his village, very proud of Ijan and was always talking about his heritage. How i wish he was allowed to fufill his dreams, but God knows best. His death is a great lesson to those of us abroad, we can never make any change, politicians in Nigeria will always remain selfish, ignorant, deadly, uneducated and unethical.
May God comfort the wife, children, brothers, sister and other family members. May he rest in the blossom of the Lord. His legacy will forever be remembered.

Today u are no more but during your time you fought and protected the interest of the less priviledge,we are not God to know wat and how u were killed but we sure know that where ever you are now,u are resting and looking down at ur enemies, those who plucked your flower at the wrong time.
Ekiti will sure miss a fearless leader like you and ur family will for ever remember that day that the news hit the headlines, though you are too big a sacrifice to make for our beloved Ekiti but God knows best.
Forever remember for your fatherly role and be grateful to God that i was ever close to you.
I will ever miss you, dearest Uncle. Close
